📦 Why Our U.S. Prices Went Up (And How You Can Still Save)

We know you've probably noticed: some of our prices for U.S. customers have recently increased—sometimes by 2x or even 2.5x. If that surprised you, trust us: it surprised us, too.

We want to be completely transparent with you about what’s going on—and more importantly, what you can do to still get the best value on your favorite My Little Necklace pieces.

🇺🇸 What's Happening?

In early 2025, the U.S. government reintroduced and tightened several trade restrictions on goods imported from China. These changes include:

The removal of the “de minimis” exemption (previously, parcels under $800 could enter the U.S. tax-free),
New flat fees per parcel, not per item—starting at $75 from May 2nd, and rising to $150 from June 1st, regardless of what’s inside the parcel.

Since a significant part of our personalized jewelry is made and assembled in China, these new policies have had an immediate and dramatic impact on our costs when shipping to the U.S.

💸 Why Prices Increased So Quickly

Unfortunately, these fees came into effect with very little warning—and apply to each parcel, not each item. That means even a single necklace triggers the full fee, making smaller orders disproportionately expensive.

To keep operating and continue serving our wonderful U.S. customers, we had no choice but to temporarily raise our prices. We hate doing it, but without this adjustment, we simply couldn't afford to cover the new import costs.
